ADAC GT Masters: Car Collection Motorsport back in ADAC GT Masters!

In a short message, the team Car Collection Motorsport from Walluf/Rheingau announces that it will return to the ADAC GT Masters in 2018. The team around team principal Peter Schmidt has already finalized the first Audi R8 LMS GT3.

Currently, there are still negotiations for the entry of additional cars. Last season, up to 4 vehicles were used simultaneously in selected 12-hour and 24-hour races of the Creventic series. This also quite successful, they achieved in three different classes the second place at the HANKOOK 24H PAUL RICARD and the double victory at the HANKOOK 12H IMOLA. In addition, the team also started with up to three cars in the ADAC GT Masters in 2016.

By whom the already confirmed Audi R8 LMS GT3 is controlled, the team announces at a later date. For the other racing cars, there are still negotiations with drivers and partners. Interested parties are welcome to contact team boss Peter Schmidt or team manager Denis Ferlemann.

Peter Schmidt: „After failing to start in the ADAC GT Masters in 2017, we are all more pleased to announce at such an early stage that we’re back. We were able to climb the podium 12 times this year and were three times at the top of the podium. So, it was the most successful year in team history and we’re trying hard to build on that success.“

It is already clear that the team will participate in some races in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. Among other things at the 1,000 km Paul Ricard as well as at the 24-hours of Spa. Also, the participation in the VLN endurance championship and in the ADAC Zurich 24H race is certain. Which cars the team will use here, is still pending. The discussions with interested drivers are currently underway. Offered are the Audi R8 LMS GT3, the brand-new Audi R8 LMS GT4 and the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup.
